On October 25, the grand opening of new facilities of the leading enterprises within the “Toyboss” group of companies took place — the “Kyrgyz Broiler” plant in Balykchy and the “Agro Kush” poultry complex in Kemin.
The events were attended by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers — Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry Bakyt Töröbaev, Presidential Plenipotentiary Representative to the Issyk-Kul Region Bakytbek Jetigenov, First Deputy Governor of the Issyk-Kul Region Daniyar Arpachiev, Mayor of Balykchy City Baatyrbek Zhantaev, representative of the State Development Bank Emil Takyrbashev, as well as representatives of government agencies and the business community.
The project was implemented within the framework of the national food security program initiated by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
“Today, the ‘Kyrgyz Broiler’ enterprise produces around 21 million hatching eggs per year. This means we will be able to produce up to 30,000 tons of poultry meat annually. This is an important step for the country, as it directly impacts food security. We have reached full self-sufficiency in egg production in Kyrgyzstan,” noted Bakyt Töröbaev.
On the same day, a capsule-laying ceremony was held for the new poultry complex of the “Agro Kush” company in Kemin.
The Kemin production complex is a major investment project aimed at expanding the company’s current production capacity. It includes a new hatchery, poultry growing sites, a feed mill, and a warehouse for storing finished products.
Once the complex is commissioned, the group of companies will produce approximately 30,000 tons of chicken meat per year, which is equivalent to more than 20 million broilers. The production volume of compound feed will increase from 28,000 tons to 115,000 tons per year.
